  1. Present

    The train arrives at nine thirty.

    O trem chega às nove e meia.

  2. Past

    We arrived in Miami late last night.

    A gente chegou em Miami tarde ontem à noite.

  3. Future

    Your package will arrive on Thursday.

    O seu pacote vai chegar na quinta.

  4. Present continuous

    The guests are arriving in a few minutes.

    Os convidados estão chegando daqui a alguns minutos.

  5. Present perfect

    Has my order arrived yet?

    Meu pedido já chegou?

  6. Conditional

    We would arrive earlier if we took the train.

    A gente chegaria mais cedo se fosse de trem.

  7. Imperative

    Arrive early, the line gets long.

    Chegue cedo, a fila fica grande.

Good to know

  • "Arrive in" é para cidade ou país; "arrive at" é para um lugar: "arrive at the hotel". Nunca "arrive to".
  • Com "home" não tem preposição: "arrive home" ou, mais comum, "get home".
