How to use うける

  1. Present and future

    らいげつ、 にほんご の しけん を うける。

    Next month I'm taking the Japanese exam.

  2. Past

    ベン さん は きのう めんせつ を うけました。

    Ben had an interview yesterday.

  3. Te-form

    いま、 ベン は しけん を うけて いる。

    Ben is taking the exam right now.

  4. Potential

    この しけん は ねん に にかい うけられます。

    You can take this exam twice a year.

  5. Want to

    ぼく も えいご の しけん を うけたい。

    I want to take the English exam too.

  6. Volitional

    いっしょに りょうり の じゅぎょう を うけましょう。

    Let's take the cooking class together.
