  2. Past

    おきゃくさん の ため に ふとん を よういした。

    I got a futon ready for the guest.

  3. Te-form

    パスポート を よういして おいて ください。

    Please have your passport ready.

  4. Potential

    あした まで に しょるい を よういできます か。

    Can you have the papers ready by tomorrow?

  5. Want to

    みんな の ぶん の おみやげ を よういしたい。

    I want to prepare souvenirs for everyone.

  6. Volitional

    あめ が ふりそう だ から、 かさ を よういしよう。

    It looks like rain, so let's get umbrellas ready.
