Good to know

  • "Fail a test" é ser reprovado na prova; "fail to" + verbo é não fazer, deixar de: "he failed to show up".
  • "Fail" não é errar: errar é "make a mistake"; e "falhar" de aparelho é "break down" ou "stop working".
