  4. Future

    I'll write the recipe down.

  5. Conditional

    An deiner Stelle würde ich den Namen aufschreiben.

    In your place I'd write the name down.

  6. Imperative

    Schreib dir den Termin auf, sonst vergisst du ihn!

    Write the date down, or you'll forget it!

  • Aufschreiben is to write down so as not to forget; schreiben alone is to write.
