  2. Simple past

    Wir blieben bis zum letzten Zug.

    We stayed until the last train.

  3. Perfect

    Ich bin gestern den ganzen Tag im Bett geblieben.

    I stayed in bed all day yesterday.

  4. Future

    Sie wird noch zwei Wochen bei uns bleiben.

    She'll stay with us for two more weeks.

  5. Conditional

    Ich würde gern noch etwas länger bleiben.

    I'd like to stay a bit longer.

  6. Imperative

    Bleib doch zum Essen, es ist genug da.

    Do stay for dinner, there's plenty.

Good to know

  • Bleiben takes sein in the Perfekt: ich bin zu Hause geblieben.
  • Bleib gesund! is a common goodbye, "stay healthy!"
