One sentence for each tense, the way people say it.

  1. Present and future

    こんにちは。 ちょっと だけ おじゃまします。

    Hello. I'll just pop in for a moment.

  2. Past

    きのう、 ゆい の うち に おじゃましました。

    Yesterday I visited Yui's place.

  3. Te-form

    おじゃまして、 すみません。 すぐ かえります。

    Sorry to intrude. I'll leave soon.

  4. Potential

    あした の ごご、 おじゃまできます か。

    Could I come by tomorrow afternoon?

  5. Want to

    こんど、 ぜひ おじゃましたい です。

    I'd really like to visit sometime.

  6. Volitional

    かえり に さとう さん の うち に おじゃましよう。

Good to know

  • おじゃまします is said as you step into someone's home, and おじゃましました as you leave.
  • Without the お, じゃま する is to get in the way: べんきょう を じゃま しないで.
