    I'm not very hungry in the morning.

  2. Past

    たくさん およいで、 おなか が すきました。

    I swam a lot and got hungry.

  3. Te-form

    おなか が すいて います か。

    Are you hungry?

  4. Potential

    おなか が すいて、 なんでも たべられます。

    I'm so hungry I could eat anything.

  5. Want to

    おなか が すいた から、 ピザ が たべたい。

    I'm hungry, so I want pizza.

  6. Volitional

    おなか が すいた ね。 ラーメン でも たべよう。

    We're hungry, aren't we. Let's have ramen or something.

Good to know

  • おなか が すきました, with the past, is how you say "I'm hungry".
  • Hunger is not something you decide, so the potential, want, volitional and imperative sentences show すく beside another verb.
