    Мы копим на отпуск, по чуть-чуть каждый месяц.

    We're saving for a holiday, a little each month.

  2. Past

    Я копила на этот велосипед целый год.

    I saved up for this bike for a whole year.

  3. Future

    Будем копить на первый взнос за квартиру.

    We'll save for the deposit on a flat.

  4. Conditional

    Я бы копила, если бы зарплата была больше.

    I'd save if my salary were bigger.

  5. Imperative

    Копи понемногу, и к лету хватит.

    Save a bit at a time and by summer you'll have enough.

Good to know

  • Копить на что-то is to save up for it: копить на машину. Накопить is to have saved it; копилка is a piggy bank.
