Pretérito indefinido · finished actions
Pretérito imperfecto · “used to” and “was …ing”
Futuro · plans and promises; in speech, “voy a hablar” is just as common
Condicional · “would”
Presente de subjuntivo · wishes, doubts, “que …”
Imperfecto de subjuntivo · “if I were”, “si …”
