  3. Imperfect

    We used to pay less rent.

  4. Future

    Esta vez pagaré yo, tú pagaste la última.

    This time I will pay, you paid last time.

  5. Conditional

    Yo no pagaría tanto por un celular.

    I wouldn't pay that much for a phone.

  6. Present subjunctive

    Es raro que el jefe pague la comida.

    It's unusual for the boss to pay for lunch.

  7. Past subjunctive

    Me pidió que pagara en la caja de enfrente.

    He asked me to pay at the register across the way.

  8. Imperative
