    A gente vai chegar ao hotel antes de escurecer.

  4. 現在進行形

    We are getting close, two more blocks.

    A gente está chegando perto, mais dois quarteirões.

  5. 現在完了

    Has she gotten home yet?

    Ela já chegou em casa?

  6. 条件法

    You would get there faster by subway.

    Você chegaria lá mais rápido de metrô.

  7. 命令形

    Get here by six, dinner is at seven.

    Chegue aqui até as seis, o jantar é às sete.

ご参考に

  • "Get to" é chegar a um lugar: "get to work"; com "home" e "here" não tem "to".
  • "Get" tem mil usos: receber ("get a letter"), ficar ("get tired"), comprar ("get some milk").
  • O particípio americano é "gotten"; "have got" é "ter": "I've got two kids".
