Not Yet

At a little desk in the hall, Frau Weber fills in Max's guest form, asks him a question much too fast, and tells him the rule of the house. Say where you're from and that you're American, say what you do, say you speak a little German, and when you don't understand, ask for it more slowly or once more. And learn Frau Weber's answer to everything, not yet.

A HISTÓRIA

It's ten past six the same evening. At a little desk in the hall, Frau Weber fills in Max's guest form. She wants to know where he's from and what he's doing in Berlin, and one of her questions is much too fast for him. Then she tells him the rule of the house, and Lukas takes a key from the board, a key like nothing Max has seen. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
