    I don't eat meat.

  2. Past

    ひるごはん に てんぷら を たべました。

    I had tempura for lunch.

  3. Te-form

    あたたかい うち に たべて ください。

    Please eat it while it's hot.

  4. Potential

    なっとう が たべられます か。

    Can you eat natto?

  5. Want to

    こんばん は なに が たべたい?

    What do you want to eat tonight?

  6. Volitional

    しごと の あと、 やきとり を たべよう。

    Let's have yakitori after work.

  7. Conditional

    やさい を たべれば、 げんき に なります よ。

    If you eat vegetables, you'll feel better.
