  3. Imperfect

    Los domingos íbamos a comer con la abuela.

    On Sundays we would go eat at grandma's.

  4. Future

    ¿Irás al concierto el viernes?

    Will you go to the concert on Friday?

  5. Conditional

    Yo iría en metro, hay mucho tráfico.

    I would take the subway, there is a lot of traffic.

    Es mejor que vayas al doctor hoy mismo.

Good to know

  • Ir a with a verb is the everyday future: voy a comer.
  • Ir en camión, en metro or en coche; ir a pie is to walk there.
