On Thursday morning Daniel and Bia go to the registry office to start the paperwork for the wedding, and find out they have come too early.
On Saturday Bia goes looking for her wedding dress with her mother, who has come down from Minas, and Daniel isn't allowed anywhere near it.
The menu tasting with the caterer and Dona Vera, and Daniel has opinions about everything, from the cheese pastries to the little chocolate sweets.
Everything piles up, and Daniel and Bia have their first real argument about the wedding, over the day nobody has chosen.

Three days after they arrive, Grandma Nena faints after a morning in the sun in her vegetable garden, and they take her to the hospital in town.
A week after the hospital, Grandma Nena is giving orders from the veranda, and Daniel meets the carpenter.
The priest from the town comes up to the farm, and Daniel and Bia go into the old chapel for the first time.
Saturday is market day in the town.
On the veranda after dinner, Grandma Nena tells the story of how she met Grandpa Zeca, sixty-five years ago, and brings out the hat she never gave back.
