Sunday afternoon, November twenty-eighth, twenty twenty-seven, the day after the guest list. Nobody has asked Grandma Nena about the farm yet. She doesn't like video calls, so Bia rings her the old way, with the phone on the kitchen table and the speaker on so that Daniel can hear. In Minas it rings five times.
