Luana takes everyone to her favourite bean fritter stall, Daniel learns what "hot" means in Salvador, and Thiago has a surprise for tomorrow night. LA HISTORIA
Late afternoon on Thursday, in a square at the top of the old town of Salvador. Under a big umbrella, a woman in a white dress and a white headscarf is frying fritters in a pot of orange oil. There is a queue, and Luana says it moves fast. Daniel orders his with just a little pepper, Thiago pays for all four, and then Daniel takes his first bite. Ten minutes later, on a bench in the square, Thiago asks if he can take one more, and tells him to keep tomorrow night free. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
