Daniel wakes up late with an empty stomach, and there's nothing to eat in the kitchen. So Carla takes him to lunch at a restaurant where you fill your own plate and pay by its weight. Say you're hungry or thirsty, ask what there is to eat, name the food on your plate, order something to drink, and say it's delicious, and "me too".

It's Daniel's fourth day in Rio. He sleeps all morning, and when he comes into the kitchen there's nothing to eat. So Carla takes him round the corner, to the kind of restaurant Brazilians eat at every day, where you fill your own plate and pay by its weight. Carla says she isn't hungry.
