  1. Present

    Je pose mes affaires et je reviens tout de suite.

    I'll put my things down and be right back.

  2. Past

    L'enfant a posé une question très drôle.

    The child asked a very funny question.

  3. Imperfect

    Il posait toujours les mêmes questions en classe.

    He always asked the same questions in class.

  4. Future

    Je poserai la question au propriétaire demain.

    I'll ask the owner the question tomorrow.

  5. Conditional

    Je ne poserais pas le sac par terre, ici.

    I wouldn't put the bag on the floor here.

  6. Present subjunctive

    Il faut que je pose un jour de congé vendredi.

    I need to book a day off on Friday.

  7. Imperative

    Pose ton manteau sur le lit, entre !
