    I weigh myself every morning.

  2. Past

    ゆうびんきょく で こづつみ の おもさ を はかりました。

    At the post office they weighed the parcel.

  3. Te-form

    ねつ を はかって みて。

    Take your temperature and see.

  4. Potential

    この はかり で は にじゅう キロ まで はかれます。

    These scales can weigh up to twenty kilos.

  5. Want to

    スーツケース の おもさ を はかりたい。

    I want to weigh my suitcase.

  6. Volitional

    まど の おおきさ を はかりましょう。

    Let's measure the window.

  7. Conditional

    はかれば、 はいる か どう か わかる。

    If you measure it, you'll know whether it fits.
