How to use さしあげる

Good to know

  • さしあげる is あげる said when you give to someone above you; what you get from them is いただく.
  • て さしあげる is to do something for them, but it can sound like a favour, so おてつだい します is often kinder.
  • Nobody is made to さしあげる, so the passive sentence shows it beside another verb.
