    This leaf gives you a rash if you touch it.

  2. Past

    こども が、 あつい なべ に さわった。

    The child touched the hot pan.

  3. Te-form

    さわって みて。 すごく やわらかい よ。

    Try touching it. It's really soft.

  4. Potential

    ガラス ごし だ から、 どうぶつ に は さわれません。

    There's glass in between, so you can't touch the animals.

  5. Want to

    この ねこ、 ふわふわ で さわりたい。

    This cat is so fluffy, I want to touch it.
