    Siempre repaso los apuntes la noche antes del examen.

    I always go over my notes the night before the exam.

  2. Past

    Repasamos el tema de cardiología tres veces y aun así suspendí.

    We went over the cardiology topic three times and I still failed.

  3. Imperfect

    Mi padre repasaba conmigo las tablas de multiplicar cada tarde.

    My father went over the times tables with me every afternoon.

  4. Future

    ¿Repasarás el temario conmigo esta tarde en la cafetería?

    Will you revise the syllabus with me this afternoon in the café?

  5. Conditional

    Yo repasaría solo los temas que peor llevas.

    I'd only go over the topics you're weakest on.

  6. Present subjunctive

    Te aconsejo que repases las dosis antes de la guardia.

    I'd advise you to go over the doses before your shift.

  7. Past subjunctive

    El profesor nos pidió que repasáramos el capítulo cuatro.

    The teacher asked us to go over chapter four.

  8. Imperative

    ¡Repasa bien las fechas, que siempre te las preguntan!

    Go over the dates properly, they always ask you about them!

  • "Repasar" is to go over what you already know before an exam; "revisar" is to check something for mistakes.
