  3. Imperfect

    My mother always begged us to call when we arrived.

  4. Future

    Si hace falta, le rogaré al casero de rodillas.

    If need be, I'll beg the landlord on my knees.

  5. Conditional

    Yo no le rogaría nada a ese hombre.

    I wouldn't beg that man for anything.

  6. Present subjunctive

    No hace falta que me ruegues, te ayudo encantado.

    There's no need to beg me, I'll gladly help you.

  7. Past subjunctive

    Aunque me rogara, no volvería con él.

    Even if he begged me, I wouldn't go back to him.

Good to know

  • "Se ruega silencio" is what signs say; "te lo ruego" is "I beg you". It takes the subjunctive: te ruego que vengas.
