PART 1 · LESSON 6 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
Cheers!
Lukas has the afternoon off and shows Max the neighbourhood, by tram and on foot, and at seven, on the bench outside the shop on the corner, he asks Max a question that changes how they talk. Say you're going by tram, that the Wall was here and that there's a flea market on Sunday, ask left or right and give the way, order two beers, offer the friendly word for you, say cheers, and ask a friend how they are, if they're tired and where they're from.

THE STORY
It's three o'clock the same Thursday. Lukas has the afternoon off, and shows Max the neighbourhood, from the tram to the Wall to the park where the flea market is on Sundays. On the way back, Max leads, which is a mistake. At seven, on the bench outside Herr Demir's shop, Lukas asks him a question, and Max finally needs the third of his grandmother's three words. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
