    えき まで まいにち あるきます。

    I walk to the station every day.

  2. Past

    きょう は いちまんぽ あるきました。

    Today I walked ten thousand steps.

  3. Te-form

    ここ から あるいて じゅっぷん です。

    It's ten minutes on foot from here.

  4. Potential

    あし が いたくて、 もう あるけません。

    My feet hurt, I can't walk any more.

  5. Want to

    さくら の した を あるきたい です。

    I want to walk under the cherry blossoms.

  6. Volitional

    てんき が いい から、 あるこう。

    The weather's nice, let's walk.

  7. Conditional

    まいにち あるけば、 けんこう に いい です よ。

    If you walk every day, it's good for your health.
