How to use записать

  1. Past

    Я записала твой номер в телефон.

    I saved your number in my phone.

  2. Future

    Мы запишем альбом в этой студии.

    We'll record the album in this studio.

  3. Conditional

    Я бы записала рецепт, но не было ручки.

    I'd have written down the recipe, but there was no pen.

  4. Imperative

    Запиши меня к врачу на четверг.

    Book me in with the doctor for Thursday.

Good to know

  • Записать is to get it down, once: записать номер, записать песню. Записаться к врачу is to make an appointment.
