PART 1 · LESSON 7 OF 30 · 31 MINUTES
Tickets, Please
Max takes the underground on his own, to the TV tower, and finds out that buying the ticket isn't the hard part. Say you're going by underground, understand a ticket inspector and what you have to do with a ticket, say you're new in Berlin and that you're not from here, ask where the underground is and where to change, and say me neither.

THE STORY
It's eleven o'clock on Friday, and Max takes the underground on his own, to the TV tower at Alexanderplatz. Buying the ticket from the machine is easy. Then, between two stations, two men in ordinary clothes stand up. Under the TV tower a woman asks him the way, and in the evening, on the bench outside Herr Demir's shop, Lukas hears the whole story. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
