How to use hurry

One sentence for each tense, the way people say it.

  1. Present

    She hurries out of the house every morning.

    Ela sai correndo de casa toda manhã.

  2. Past

    We hurried to the gate and still missed the flight.

    A gente correu até o portão e mesmo assim perdeu o voo.

  3. Future

    I will hurry, give me five minutes.

    Vou me apressar, me dá cinco minutos.

  4. Present continuous

    Why are you hurrying? We have plenty of time.
