  3. Imperfect

    Cet horaire me convenait très bien l'an dernier.

    That timetable suited me very well last year.

  4. Future

    Cette taille te conviendra mieux, essaie-la.

    This size will suit you better, try it on.

  5. Conditional

    Un rendez-vous en fin de journée me conviendrait.

    An appointment at the end of the day would suit me.

  6. Present subjunctive

    Je cherche une date qui convienne à tout le monde.

    I'm looking for a date that suits everyone.

  7. Imperative

    Convenez d'une heure ensemble et prévenez-moi.

    Agree on a time together and let me know.

Good to know

  • Ça te convient ? asks if something works for you; convenir de quelque chose is to agree on it.
  • Il convient de + infinitive is formal : it is advisable to.
