  2. Past

    On s'est parlé cinq minutes devant l'école.

    We talked for five minutes in front of the school.

  3. Imperfect

    Avant, mes frères ne se parlaient plus du tout.

    Before, my brothers didn't speak to each other at all.

  4. Future

    On se parlera calmement quand tu seras rentré.

    We'll talk calmly when you're back home.

  5. Conditional

    Vous vous parleriez plus si vous habitiez plus près.

    You'd talk more if you lived closer.

  6. Present subjunctive

    Il faut qu'on se parle, c'est important.

    We need to talk, it's important.

  7. Imperative

    Parlez-vous, au lieu de bouder chacun dans votre coin.

Good to know

  • In the passé composé the participle doesn't change : elles se sont parlé.
  • "On ne se parle plus" is "we're not on speaking terms".
