  3. Te-form

    ベン さん は いま やま で すべって います。

    Ben is skiing on the mountain right now.

  4. Potential

    ぼく は まだ はやく すべれない。

    I can't ski fast yet.

  5. Want to

    こんど の ふゆ、 ほっかいどう で すべりたい です。

    Next winter I want to ski in Hokkaido.

Good to know

  • One verb for slipping on ice and for skiing: スキー で すべる is to ski.
  • すべる is godan, so it goes すべります, すべって, not すべます.
