  1. Present

    Stimmt so, danke schön.

    Keep the change, thank you.

  2. Simple past

    Die Adresse auf dem Brief stimmte nicht.

    The address on the letter was wrong.

  3. Perfect

    Die Rechnung hat nicht gestimmt.

    The bill was wrong.

  4. Future

    Das wird schon stimmen, er irrt sich selten.

    That'll be right, he's rarely wrong.

  5. Conditional

    Wenn das stimmen würde, wäre ich sehr froh.

    If that were true, I'd be very glad.

  6. Imperative

    Stimm doch für den Vorschlag, er ist gut.

    Do vote for the proposal, it's good.

  • Stimmt! is that's right; das stimmt nicht, that's not true; stimmt so, keep the change.
  • Stimmen für is to vote for.
