How to use falar

  1. Present

    Minha irmã fala inglês e um pouco de espanhol.

    My sister speaks English and a little Spanish.

  2. Past

    Eu falei com a minha mãe hoje de manhã.

    I talked to my mother this morning.

  3. Future

    Amanhã eu vou falar com o seu professor.

    Tomorrow I'm going to talk to your teacher.

  4. Imperfect

    Meus avós falavam italiano em casa.

    My grandparents spoke Italian at home.

  5. Conditional

    Eu falaria com ela, mas não tenho o número.

    I'd talk to her, but I don't have her number.

  6. Present subjunctive

    Quero que você fale mais devagar, por favor.

    I want you to speak more slowly, please.

  7. Past subjunctive

    Se ele falasse português, seria mais fácil.

    If he spoke Portuguese, it would be easier.
