The Interview

Friday at ten, Daniel sits down in front of the director and tells her the truth about his weak point. Then he calls Carla, as he promised. Speak formally, talk about your experience and your biggest challenge, say "I've been working" and "for two years" the way people say it at work, and answer the questions every interview asks.

THE STORY

Friday, ten to ten. Daniel arrived early, in a white shirt, not a suit. The director, Dona Sonia, runs the whole Rio office from the top floor, and Daniel has only ever seen her in the lift. Her door opens. Afterwards, outside the building, he calls Carla, as he promised. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
