PART 1 · LESSON 7 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
I'm Sorry You're Upset
Paula has been quiet all week, and Daniel finds out why. She applied for the position too, and the director never answered. Say how you feel about what someone else does, with "I'm sorry that", "I'm glad that", "what a shame that", "it bothers me that" and "it's not fair that", and clear the air with a colleague.

THE STORY
Thursday, the fourth of March, six in the evening. The office is emptying. All week Paula has said good morning, done her work and said goodbye, and nothing else. Daniel stops at her desk with two coffees, and at last she tells him what happened that Friday in January. At eight, at home, Bia wants to know everything. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
