How to use 가르치다

One sentence for each tense, the way people say it.

    수아 씨는 고등학교에서 영어를 가르쳐요.

    Su-a teaches English at a high school.

  2. Past

    작년에 아이들에게 피아노를 가르쳤어요.

    Last year I taught children the piano.

  3. Future

    내년에는 한국어를 가르칠 거예요.

    Next year I'm going to teach Korean.

  4. Honorific

    김 선생님은 삼십 년 동안 수학을 가르치셨어요.

    Mr. Kim taught math for thirty years.

  5. Connectives

    낮에는 가르치고 밤에는 공부해요.

    I teach during the day and study at night.

  6. Requests and commands

    아이들한테 천천히 가르치세요.

    Teach the children slowly.
