How to use 괜찮다

One sentence for each tense, the way people say it.

    조금 피곤하지만 저는 괜찮아요.

    I'm a little tired, but I'm fine.

  2. Past

    어제 본 영화는 그냥 괜찮았어요.

    The movie I saw yesterday was just okay.

  3. Future

    걱정하지 마세요, 다 괜찮을 거예요.

    Don't worry, everything will be fine.

  4. Honorific

    할머니, 지금 몸은 괜찮으세요?

    Grandma, are you feeling okay now?

  5. Connectives

    이 방은 괜찮지만 조금 작아요.

    This room is fine, but it's a little small.

Good to know

  • 괜찮아요? asks "Are you okay?"; the same 괜찮아요 answers "I'm fine" or "No, thanks".
