    The cat hid under the bed and won't come out.

  2. Future

    Я спрячусь за шкафом, а ты ищи.

    I'll hide behind the wardrobe, and you look.

  3. Conditional

    От такой жары я бы спряталась в погребе.

    From heat like this I'd hide in the cellar.

  4. Imperative

    Спрячься быстрее, она уже идёт сюда!

    Hide, quick, she's already coming this way!

Good to know

  • Спрятаться is to hide yourself; спрятать is to hide something: спрячь деньги. Прятаться is the imperfective, as in прятки, hide and seek.
