The parcel has reached Toronto, and Ben's parents are coming to Japan in April. Ben calls Yui with the news, tells Mrs. Tanaka the next morning, and books a room at the Hanaya. LA HISTORIA

Saturday February twenty-eighth, 2026, in the evening. Ben's mother has just called from Toronto, where it's Saturday morning. The parcel has arrived, and there's bigger news than that. Ben calls Yui straight away. The next morning, he starts cleaning his flat, and meets Mrs. Tanaka on the stairs. In the afternoon, he books a room for his parents at the Hanaya.
