On December 31, the friends share noodles at the Hanaya, thank each other and go to Sensoji for midnight. Make casual suggestions, offer to carry something and exchange New Year greetings. A fortune leaves Ben with a secret, and memories close Part Two.

LA HISTORIA

Thursday December 31, 2026. Kenta cooks at the Hanaya while his grandmother stays comfortably seated. Ben, Yui, Mike and Mrs. Tanaka join supper. Tanaka stays with Sato while the four younger friends walk to Sensoji. After midnight greetings and the bell, they make offerings, draw fortunes and return to the inn. Ben's wish remains private.
