A Neighbour in Bed
On Monday morning, Monsieur Petit's radio is silent. He has flu, and his wife is away in Paris, so Emma looks after him. Say someone looks pale, talk about flu and fever, offer to bring something with "I'll bring you some", tell someone to rest and to call you, pass on a message with "tell her that", explain at the chemist's, and ask how someone is feeling the next morning.

A HISTÓRIA
It is Monday October 12, 2026. Monsieur Petit, the retired neighbour across the landing, always says hello in the morning, and his radio is always on. This morning, the radio is silent, and he hasn't been down for his bread. His wife is at their daughter's in Paris. Emma knocks on his door. He opens it in a dressing gown, with a scarf round his neck. Then Emma goes to the chemist's, and the next morning she knocks again.
