A HISTÓRIA

On Saturday 25 October, Chloe meets Emma outside her building at ten for the promised shopping trip. That afternoon, with her new coat and umbrella beside her, Emma phones a hotel in Annecy. They want to arrive on Friday 31 October and leave on Sunday 2 November. Chloe has the weekend off and her mother's permission to borrow the car. Emma handles the booking in French.
