On Tuesday at lunchtime, Emma takes a birthday parcel for her mother to the post office. A HISTÓRIA

It is Tuesday October 6, 2026. Emma's mother's birthday is on Saturday, in Chicago. At lunchtime, Emma runs to the post office with a box under her arm. There's a queue, of course, and only one counter. Her new bank card still hasn't arrived, so she pays in cash. Back at the school, she tells Karim all about it.
