Saturday November eighth, in the centre of Lyon. Chloe's cousin is getting married later this month and has invited Emma. After three unsuccessful shops, the friends try a fourth. The blue dress in size thirty-eight is tight, so the assistant brings a forty. Emma checks the fit, considers the ninety-euro price and makes her choice.
