LA HISTORIA
Thursday, the first of July, three days before the N3 exam. At Christmas, Ben told Mike he hoped he'd have a girlfriend next year. It's only July. Mike comes into the staff room with a very serious face and asks for a word, and Ben assumes the worst, another stolen umbrella, or a complaint from a parent. It is not a complaint. That evening, the box of invitations on the kitchen table, stamped and waiting for Monday, needs one more envelope. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
