How to use き が つく

  2. Past

    いえ に ついて から、 わすれもの に き が ついた。

    After getting home I noticed I'd forgotten something.

  3. Te-form

    まちがい に き が ついて、 すぐ なおした。

    I noticed the mistake and fixed it right away.

  4. Potential

    き が つく の が おそくて、 まにあいませんでした。

    I noticed too late and couldn't make it.

  5. Want to

    もっと はやく き が ついて ほしかった。

    I wish you'd noticed sooner.
