It has been a year since Daniel flew home to Chicago. Now he is walking out of the arrivals door in Rio again, and Carla and Bia are waiting for him. They think he is here for another month. He has something to tell them. On the way to the taxis, Dona Lucia calls, just like on the first day, and at the taxi Daniel takes out the key Carla gave him a year ago.
