Silvia, the estate agent, shows Daniel and Bia round three flats in Botafogo, and the third one, on the eighth floor, has the view. A HISTÓRIA

Monday the twenty-second of January, a quarter to seven in the evening, in Botafogo. Silvia met Daniel and Bia at six, and has already shown them two flats, one with no light and one with a tiny kitchen. Now she opens the door of the third, on the eighth floor of an old building, walks straight across the empty living room, and pulls back the curtains.
